Edit:07/25/2016 - I FINALLY FIXED HER DANG LEGS AND CROPPED THE PHOTO

Edit: 01/01/2016 - This is being brought back out of the scrap pile, it's old as hell and has so many mistakes. I am working to update with better new art. Hopefully soon, depends on how life goes haha.

Edit 05/25/2012 : Since everyone uses this ref for Orca instead of her Toy Store App I Fixed the Loyalty pin on her head to an actual crown since it was for a group thing :'D

So this was Orca's loyal app image before I swapped her sides

LOL omg what the fuck This will probably go on her next app we'll seeeeeee Christ I was an awful 20 year old

I could go on and on about what I love about this piece. The color choices, the pose, the delicateness in which you worked her lines. All very lovely parts to a really gorgeous image.

There is one thing that bothers me. The proportions between the upper body, and lower body make her very awkward. If the legs are going to stem from the base, at that thickness, and reach that length, then her upper body should easily be doubled in at least length, and widened slightly.

I understand the appeal of a figure with incredibly long limbs, but even when we see successful renderings of such images, there is still at least a vague proportion that makes sense to the eye. It doesn't have to be terribly realistic to still be plausible, but giving her giant legs and a midget torso just doesn't quite look right to the eye.

And yet, even as I look at her, I still find her charmingly beautiful.
